Eiko and David created their first duet during her Talking Duets series during her Platform at Danspace in 2016. Since then, Eiko has functioned as an agitator in his work, Quiet Circus, and David has acted as a dramaturg in Eiko's duets with Alexis Moh and Merian Soto. David and Eiko previewed an independent duet at Wesleyan University in May 2019.
