From January 6 through January 10, Eiko performed her A Body in Places (Un Cuerpo en Lugares) ten times at GAM (Centro de las artes, la cultura) as part of Festival International Santiago a Mil 2016. Her performance opened the month long festival. Also on view in Santiago  is Eiko and William Johnston's photo exhibition, A Body in Fukushima at GAM's beautiful two story gallery, The exhibition contained 150 mixed size photos and two videos from their trip to Fukushima in 2014.

From Jan 6-10, Eiko performed twice a day. Each noon performance included a short gallery tour by Johnston, and each evening performance started with two poets,reciting their poems.
