Eiko & Koma have been chosen by both The Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, and Time Out New York as one of the best dance events of the year. In Chicago, Sid Smith cited the both Time is Not Even, Space is Not Empty and performances of Naked and The Caravan Project at the Chicago MCA as one of the top 10 Chicago dance events of 2011. In New York, Gia Kourlas included performances of Naked and Water among her choices for best dance events of the year.
