Eiko & Koma's exhibition currently on view at Chicago MCA

  • Time is Not Even, Space is Not Empty is Eiko & Koma's most comprehensive multi-gallery exhibition to date, currently on view at the Chicago MCA curated by its Director of Performing Arts Programs Peter Taub in collaboration with the artists. Eric Bissell  also worked closely with Eiko & Koma since January as the exhibition designer and coordinator.

    The exhibition opened on June 24 and will be on available to public through November 13.

    During the exhibition Eiko & Koma visit MCA for four performing residencies.

    Performing Residencies

    Eiko & Koma performed Naked from June 24-26, 1-5 pm, and June 28, 1-8 pm. As it was presented at the Walker Art Center and the Baryshnikov Arts Center, Nakedat the MCA was a durational gallery performance in which the audience was free to come and go at any time.
