In 2016, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine invited Eiko to become an artist-in-residence. As such, Eiko is free to wander around, explore, experiment and perform throughout the vast Cathedral. This video finds Eiko in the Cathedral after hours. This red cloth has accompanied Eiko in almost all of her solo performances that started with her visit to irradiated Fukushima in 2014.
This work is a result of Eiko's collaboration with Alexis Moh who has filmed most of Eiko's performances in the past two years.
