As part of the 2016 PLATFORM: A Body in Places, Danspace Project, in collaboration with Eiko presented the photo exhibition of A BODY IN FUKUSHIMA. Following a 3 and a half hour CONVERSATION WITHOUT WALLS and Eiko's 9 pm solo, the photo/video exhibition opened at 10 pm. At every hour, on the hour, musicians, poets, and dancers performed throughout the full 24 hours, creating a collective ritual that reflected upon the fifth year anniversary of Fukushima's triple disaster.
Lighting designed by Kathy Kaufman with Eiko.
