Documentary. 49 Minutes. Color video. This film explores the collaboration between Eiko & Koma and students from the Reyum Institute of Arts and Culture in Phenom Penh, Cambodia. As the documentary examines the creation of the performance work, "Cambodian Stories," it asks what can come out of a collaboration between young painters from a country with a violent past and Asian American performing artists who have lived and worked in the US since 1976. Directed and edited by Micah Trapp. Cinematography by Yi Chen.
