Performance excerpt.

A year after their 12-city tour of Cambodian Stories with 11 young Cambodian artists, Eiko & Koma invited two of the Cambodian artists to extend their collaboration. In the St. Mark's Church graveyard at dusk, they presented an outdoor version of Cambodian Stories, now a quartet with dancers Peace (Setheap Sorn, age 18) and Charian (Chakreya So, age 17). Paintings created by members of the Reyum Painting Collective were suspended between tall trees of the graveyard, revitalizing an ancient iconography in the heart of an urban metropolis. The production attracted as many as 700 viewers a night.
