Eiko & Koma are excited to announce the launch of their Archive Project. Coming on the heels of the Retrospective Project, which wraps up later this year, the Archive Project seeks to create an artist-led archive in which a collection of files, photographs, press, programs, sets, costumes, videos, and audio material is examined by the artists themselves with assistance of archive experts. Eiko & Koma hope the documentation of their body of work will also be a resource for further artistic production and imagination, for themselves and for others. Before their archive is housed in its final home, the artists seek to create an interactive archive that is open to the public. This might take the shape of an open artist's studio or an online contextualization of various installations created in the past or to be created in the future.
